Thandeka Rare opened a thread in the name of wanting justice. According to Rare and reports, she was attacked and assaulted at the Department of Basic Education in Tshwane in February, by EFF “mob” crowd.
It was reported an employee at the DBE offices was hospitalized, after a group of EFF members stormed into the premises. She says she was violated, assaulted by four men belonging to the party. Her phone was stolen, mask and access card taken on. “These are not just words from their leaders. The EFF mob stormed the education dept on 14 Feb and I was assaulted by 4 men, their members. I’m a black woman. A communicator. They stole my phones, mask and access card. No arrests.” she tweeted
“No accountability. These calls to violence on perceived enemies, I was at the receiving end of their violence-centered ideology. They assault, steal &trash buildings with impunity. The EFF are a serious danger to the people of this country. They got what they want. 4 men beating up a black woman, a communicator. They continue with their lives as if nothing happened. While I’m here trying to pick up the pieces and rebuild my life.”
Her tweet sparked flames with people saying she should just open a case and not bring the fight to twitter. While others say this proves many right when they say EFF members act in violence and get away with it all. Bonginkosi khanyiles name has been brought up, linking it to the attack that the party preached and acts violently.
