Economic Freedom Fighters Female Members took on a peaceful march(walk) to Hillary Gardee’s home, condemning the death of women in South Africa. The members made their way to the deceased home to honour her in a candle light night vigil hosted by EFF Deputy Secretary General Mailola Poppy.

DSG Poppy spoke of fear and anger women carry around with them, caused by men who fail to protect and love a woman as they should. Poppy further confirmed the arrest of a man responsible for Hillary’s death and the hotel she may possibly be shot at. Poppy says the country is “fucked up”.

The Mayor of Mbombela Sibongile Makhushe said people are afraid. “We cannot continue dying like flies in this country of ours.
