The South African National Defense Force has issued a warning statement to the youth of South Africa after a fake advert was sent out on social media

SANDF say they have not released any form of employment opportunities and once they do they will do it the traditional way of doing so. The SANDF uses their website for forms and makes an official advertising on national newspapers.

“The SANDF wishes to warn the unsuspecting youth not to engage with the scammers on an online link provided on the advert as this is not a recognised or legitimate SANDF online platform.”

The link providers by the scammers looks convincing and may fool anyone without the knowledge of the correct SANDF online platform. Fraudsters are taking advantage of the unemployment strain of SA youth by tricking them into fake work opportunities
