Mamkhize’s Royal AM snatch a point in the last minute of the game

Royal

Marumo Gallants locked horns with Royal AM on Tuesday afternoon, Gallants would’ve wanted to use home ground advantage and keeping a good character they’ve displayed last week against AS Vita in the CAF CONFEDERATIONS CUP (CAFCC) meanwhile fighting out of relegation, hence Royal AM would’ve wanted to keep up their good momentum and closing on the gap at the top of the log against Sundowns.

The opening half was rather entertaining as the Limpopo based team, dominated in the middle of the park and created a few chances, but none of those were converted meanwhile AM also created a number of chances too , but they didn’t seem determined to win the game as much as Gallants, as Gallants also dominated in terms of possession . Both teams couldn’t break the deadlock and the match went into half-time goalless 0-0.

In the second half Ndlodlo broke the deadlock and found the back of the net to put Gallants ahead on the 48th minute, on the 73rd minute Letsie Koapeng struck in a sensational strike as the  goalkeeper didn’t stand a chance and made it 2-0, Ma’Mkhize’s boys brought themselves back into the game as Victor Letsoalo stood up and converted a penalty for AM making the score-line 2-1.

In the dying minutes Royal AM fought themselves back into the game and stole the show from Gallants and their efforts paid off as Sedwyn George found a late equalizer for Royal AM on the 95th minute, Galants will regret not closing the gaps, the match ended into  a draw 2-2.
