Ditrupa Challenges closing the festive season in style after bringing joy to the communities of Seabe and Marapayane for the past two weeks.
One could wonder how the festive season would be without Ditrupa challenges in small villages of Seabe, Marapyane and surrounding areas, though we got the answer of that in the past year as the country was under hard lockdown.
President Cyril Ramaphosa lifting the curfew couldn’t have come at the right time as members of Ditrupa managed to showcase their talents while entertaining village members who love the fun they bring.
As it has become a tradition that Seabe ditrupa meets for a fun challenge in Malizana tavern the beginning of every year on the 2nd of January, even this year the Ditrupa did not disappoint as they drew huge numbers of supporters to the Pitswane section tavern.
Terateng Section trupa, popularly known as Rankua did not disappoint as they did what they do best, headlining the show, the young crew brought down their best performance as the crowd cheered for them asking for more.
Ditrupa have become a way of bringing business to the tavern as they help grow the economy with some street vendors taking the opportunity to also sell their food outside the tavern.
