King Monada the Idibala hit maker, had to watch as his German Car BMW M4 got reposessed in the early hours of Wednesday 20 October 2021, due to allerged unpaid debts.

The award winning artist took to his facebook page and wrote a post which reads as thus “ Ba txeri koloi tjo ke boela maotong yenngwe etlare bolayang ke dikoloto ( They took the car , back to walking  another thing that will kill us is debts).

The award winning artist has not been himself following his divorce with the former second wife Cynthia Leon. According to meia reports, Monada chased Leon out of his house , sources revealed that Leon was always nagging him for coming home late.

The hitmaker has also been involved in a number of scandals, firstly his Baby Mama Sharon Masia reportedly dragged him to maintenace court after refusing to increase the maintenance amount from R500 to R1200.  Although the child was concieved  when they were both in High School and later split in 2013, Monada has been paying R500 for years without  complains from Masia as she covered some of the child’s costs using her NSFAS money.

Irregardless of that scandal Monada also fought in words with fellow artist Makhadzi over the “Ghanama” song and the two later released their own versions of Ghanama separately. Earlier this month he had yet again another fight with Mr Six21 over the “Ex Yaka” song. Monada has not been releasing songs as usual, compared to past years.

Regarding the repossesion of his car fans showed support towards the artist, Phathu Chris Mutondi commented on the post saying, “This is a no laughing matter , Nigga will bounce back  i can relate. Financial difficulties are part of our everyday’s hustle, this too shall pass.’’
