Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula is out on the streets to attend where sustainable job opportunities on building roads is underway.

Mbalula, a busy man of this country is working on the Sihabasonke movement he mentioned in 2021, speaking to Mpumalanga residents of Dr JS Moroka municipality where he promised employment opportunities for the youth to repair and build a 3m long pavement.

This program meant to offer opportunities of employment to the youth, women, those living with disabilities and small businesses, constructing and maintaining roads in our rural areas through brick paving, has been a successful progress leading from 2021 to 2022. During the ministers visit at one of the sites, workers showed gratitude with evidence of determination, work underway and great progress nearing to completion.

Even in the chilly weather with little rain, workers are working tirelessly to see the roads to completion. “ROLL OUT OF LABOUR INTENSIVE ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND MAITENANCE PROGRAMME. We are putting into action the Presidential Employment Stimulus. Sihamba Sonke South Africa.” Said Mbalula
