South African Musician Black coffee won the best dance / electronic music album. He won the award for his Subconsciously album. It was his first ever Grammy award. He accepted the award alongside his eldest son, Esona.
This is his first Grammy Award, the win marks as the first South African producer to have won it or nominated under the category. History has been made with South African artists scoring wins internationally.
“I want to thank God for the gift of music and being able to share it with the world and heal souls and help people go through whatever they’re going through in life,” he said.

Black Coffee known for his unique sound, mzansi couldn’t be more proud of him for flying the SA flag high. Although his divorce trended and gave him a bad name for some time, his career went on to reach greater heights.
