Chippa United FC have announced that former player Kurt Lentjies will continue as club Head coach for the remainder of the season with Siyabulela Gwambi to continue as Assistant coach in a media statement on 5 January 2022.
Lentjies was appointed as head coach on an interim basis last month after the sacking of former head coach Gavin Hunt following the club’s worst start to a league season managing a single win in their first ten matches of the season.
“In the technical department, the team has decided to retain Mr. Kurt Lentjies as assisted by Mr. Siyabulela Gwambi for the balance of the season, following an encouraging start to their tenure after the departure of coach Gavin Hunt,” the club said.
The Club also announced that they are planning on bolstering the current squad with new signings in the current window with the new additions to be announced in ‘due course’ and also confirmed the appointments of Sandiso Mpengesi and Lukanyo Mzinzi as General Manager and Executive director of the club respectively.
