DSTV premiership club Swallows FC have announced the return of head coach Brandon Truter from his ‘special leave’ to the club, in an official statement by the chairperson Mr. David Mogashoa on Tuesday, 05 October 2021.
The club also known as the ‘Dube birds’ released an official statement on their official Facebook page confirming Truter’s return with former interim coach, Simo Dladla, continuing as his Assistant coach. In the statement the club stated that they held an emergency meeting late yesterday afternoon with the management team following coach Truter’s ‘mutually agreed’ leave from the team following unsatisfactory developments within the team with Simo Dladla placed in temporary charge of the squad.
The club went on to announce that Brandon Truter has now returned to the team and will immediately take charge of the squad. “Coach Truter has now returned from leave and will be in charge of the team from now on. We would like to wish him and the team well. Assistant coach Dladla will continue in his role while performance analyst, Mr.Kumai Sait, will remain suspended pending the outcome of his disciplinary hearing,” announced the club in their statement.
The club also issued a warning shot to the management team demanding a change of results from the team. “The Board of the team is not happy with the current performance of the team and it can’t rule out drastic changes if the situation persists,” the club stated in their statement.
