South African Television Veteran and actress, Tina Jaxa, has joined etv soapie Durban Gen and will be taking on the role of Nomvula Jack.

eTV. Confirmed Jaxa’s return to the eFamily to the Durban based soapie. “Join us as we welcome back Thina Jaxa back to the eFamily. She’ll take on the role of Nomvula Jack on #Durban Gen from Wednesday the 24th of November,” eTV tweeted.,The 51-year-old actress is known for her fiesty roles on eTV soapies such as Rhythm City, Ashes to Ashes, Gold diggers and has also appeared on major soapies such as the SABC’s Generations, Isidingo, 7 de laan as well as other Mzansi Magic telenovelas like Nkululeko.

Tina Jaxa boasts over 25 years of experience in South African Television and will definitely be a very welcomed addition to the Durban Gen cast.

Delighted Mzansi tweeps could not contain their excitement at the veteran joining the eTV soapie whilst some seemed bemused at the lack of marketing of Jaxa’s arrival on the soapie as it was only announced a only a day before the veteran’s debut episode on Durban Gen.
