DSTV premiership outfit Royal AM have denied rumours linking their talisman Victor Letsoalo away from the club in a media statement on Thursday, 13 January 2022.

Over the recent week or so, there has been speculation in various media outlets linking Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo with a move to Kaizer Chiefs with reports seemingly suggesting that the player had been closed to joining the Soweto giants, however, the Durban based club have now come forward to refute such claims.

“Royal AM wishes to distance itself from all media statements both print and electronic about the imminent sale of Victor Letsoalo to Kaizer Chiefs.  As a team we think that people out there are trying to cause instability in our team and cause confusion,” Royal AM said.

“We want to set the record straight and state categorically that we have not been in discussions with anyone concerning our player besides what we hear on media,” Royal AM added.

The club also stated that they are not interested in selling the player as he is an integral member of the team and is considered untouchable.

Royal AM also revealed that they have exercised the option in the player’s contract to extend until 2023 and reiterated that the player is not for sale.
