Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux made his first court appearance at the Roodepoort Magistrate Court in Johannesburg, pending his arrest of case opened by Victor Ramefere, an alleged drug dealer accompanied by the EFF.
The case was postponed for bail hearing on Monday 28 March 2022. Lux is represented by advocate Khumalo, who is out on R3000 bail on allegations of being the course of the July Unrest. Questions ran high on wonder as to will this have a negative effect on Lux’s case.
The leader of the movement will have to miss out on the launch set to happen in KwaZulu Natal, however the deputy chair person of the movement says they will head out to KwaZulu Natal as this is what Nhlanhla Lux would have wanted, for the movement to continue its core mission.
In the meantime, Judge Wilson is reading out the verdict Tshegofatso Pules murder, a judgement day for Shoba. Muzi Malepane is currently serving 20 years imprisonment for the murder.
