There’s also limited companies or service provider that have the skill on terms of dealing or rectifying those faults.
The MMC further informed that the Communication department and service delivery department needs to communicate with the residents in terms of the issues regarding service delivery because without communication, residents get frustrated. In order to ensure residents get first-hand information in terms of what happened, when will it happen and how long and the challenges they will face.
Senzi Sibeko said “we need the reservoirs to be 50% full before we can start pumping water.
The issue that resulted to the fault on was the Oil field 66 KV cable which was damaged by service work that was done by a private company in that area, and that area has affected a lot of different areas.
They have decided to have electrical stock to be able to help the communities in having proper equipment stock, and proper register to understand when they have stock and how long they need to wait for stock to come through.
