Bolobedu – Thabo Sylvester Makgobolo affectionately known by his stage name “General Manizo” was arrested on the 17th of May 2022 for attempted murder, after he allegedly shot and killed his lover Kamogelo Mitchell Maake.

Furthermore the suspect is faced with charges of being in possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.Following countless bail hearings postponement, the kingpin finally got to know his fate on Wednesday 13 July when he appeared before the Kgapane magistrate Court for his bail application.

On his bid for freedom the singer and his legal representative failed to prove the court that he was a suitable candidate to be released on bail. His bid to be released on bail was denied and was remanded in custody until September 9th.
