Mercedes Benz has recalled over 13 000 cars in South Africa and some more world wide, the recall is due to some fatal technical faults that the type of recalled Mercedes Benz cars might have.
The National Consumer Commision (NCC) is urging people who drive merceddes benz in South Africa to stop driving the cars and take them to the nearest Mercedes branch, following a global recall by the German company. The recalled models are Mercedes-Benz ML, GL and R class that were manufactured between 2006 and 2019.
According to NCC the recall affecs 13 759 cars in South Africa, the recall is due to possible brake failure due to corrosion in the housing points of those Benz cars.
