The premier of Kwa Zulu Natal, Sihle Zikalala has made a public announcement that the Health MEC, Nomagugu Simelane Zulu will not get out of this matter scot free for the stunt she recently pulled.

During in the week a video trended on social media, of the Health MEC partying and breaking the number one rule of the Covid-19 restrictions placed.

Simelane Zulu has made the KZN premier along with the public furious, after she was seen partying without wearing a mask. The premier has expressed his disappointment in the MEC and has ordered that she is to issue an apology within seven days, and that 50 percent of her next salary, will be penalized as a result for breaking Covid-19 rules.

The Health MEC has failed to lead by example and practice what she preaches. She has undermined her position and appointment as Health MEC, to protect the people from the virus and follow the strict regulations set by the government to prevent the spread of the deadly virus that has squatted and ravaged the country leading it to the third wave the country is currently in, under the Delta Variant.
