The Democratic Alliance (DA) has announced that it has won the uMngeni local municipality in Kwazulu-natal in an official announcement on Tuesday, 02 November 2021.
The DA announced the news on their official twitter page. “DA wins uMngeni local municipality in Kwazulu Natal!,” announced the DA.” South Africans are tired of ANC corruption and poor governance, they are choosing DA government that will get things done,” the DA added.
The DA leader, John Steenhuizen, also announced today that the Party also won and retained the Kouga Municipality in the Eastern Cape. “Over the last 5 years, the DA has been spending on average over R10 million per year on repairing and upgrading roads – reversing decades of ANC poor governance,” said Steenhuizen.
South Africans continue being anxious as results continue to trickle in after heading to the polls yesterday to cast their votes with the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) announcing earlier today that 90% of the results will be finalised today evening.
