Twice or thrice over, as they say, good is it to repeat and review what is good. Karabo Mapitlula decides to repeat Matric, although worried, he is excited to return to class.

With just a few days left for schools to re-open for the 2023 academic year, Mapitlula took it to his Facebook account to announce that he’ll be returning to school after spending three years working piece jobs.

Mapitlula previously matriculated in 2019 at Khesethwane Secondary School in Mawa village where he obtained Higher Certificate and that has halted him from pursuing media studies at his desired University.

Speaking to Africa Daily News Mapitlula revealed that he wasn’t satisfied with his results. “I was not pleased with my results and I did not get any acceptance to any university with such results and that is why I then decided to go back to Grade 12 and start afresh.” says Mapitlula.

The 21-year-old hopes to obtain a Bachelor pass, so he can pursue media studies. Furthermore, he wishes to become an actor or a TV host in the near future.
