In the wet rainy weather of Northern Cape, EFf leader Julius Malema along with the members, led a group of unemployed residents of Khathu, to demand answers and job creation from Anglo American at Kumba Iron Ore mine.
“Today we confront the racist mining mafia known as Anglo-American, No Retreat, No Surrender.” In the memorandum drafted, the party say they led the “masses to demand that Anglo-American must create jobs, build schools and healthcare centres.”

Malema says they want to ensure that workers will be paid properly and their safety can be reassured, addressing the public he says no mine worker should be earning less than R12 500. The large crowd in the rain marched from Frekkie Mayor Route, with Malema and his members in the fore front, they say they are marching for jobs which should be created by Anglo American.
Meanwhile in Limpopo, the party has brought warm soup at the Maake Clinic and two others for the elderly. “Fighters in Tzaneen, Giyani and Ba-Phalaborwa are serving chronic patients who are collecting medication with warm soup this winter at Maake Clinic Ward 35, Thomo Clinic Ward 17 and Benfarm Clinic in Ward 3.”
