Dr Keabetswe Modimoeng was born and bred in Mahike Northwest, in his early ages while growing up he studied at St Marys High School and matriculated in 2004. He went on to further his studies at Tshwane University of Technology studying for National Diploma in Public Relations between 2005 – 2007.
Dr Modimoeng in 2008 obtained a qualification in Project Management at Milpark school of financial planning and insurance. Keabetswe weon to further his studies at Regent Business school in 2009 – 2012 obtaining Master of Business Administration (MBA) qualification, he also received the best MBA dissertation award.
He is also a former Sunday Times Labour and Business Journalist where he won the 2009 Worers workers world productions labour journalist of the year. Before being appointed at ICASA Dr Keabetswe was public affairs and cporporate citizenship manager at Samsung electronics .
In 2017 he obtained PhD in management science specialising in Business Administration, earlier in his career he held corporate communications roles at Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) and Anglo American. He was member of the board and acting chairman at ICASA before his resignation earlier today.
