Eastern Cape department of transport confirmed the death of two learners from Dale Junior college due to a motor accident that occured on the N2 road just outside Ntabozuko (Berlin) this afternoon.

The department of transport stated that it is alleged the learners were travelling from a hockey match at one of the schools in East London, when the driver lost control of the school bus on the N2 killing two boys instantly and injuring several others.

It is said that one of the learners sustained serious injuries together with the driver and they were rushed to the nearest hospital in Mdantsane East London. Clear investigation is to be carried out to identify what really caused the accident.
