Our app will allow residents to access the most accurate information about loadshedding, allowing them to plan their lives we want Capetonians toexperience the minimum amount of inconveniencefrom Eskom’s generation failures while we work to make loadshedding a thing of the past” stated Cape Town mayor Geordin Hill Lewis.

The loadshedding app will allow residents to get real time information on loadshedding in their area, log electrical service requests, the app will also show Cape Town city customers where to buy their prepaid electricity around town. The city’s app is readily available for downloadon apple app store and google play store.

The app users only needs to add their location on the app’s map to view their area’s loadshedding schedule, this also allows residents to see which area is currently being loadshed and which is next
