Children in Kwa Maphumulo KwaZulu Natal were rushed to hospital after allegedly consuming lollipops of an unfamiliar brand.

The lollipop caused them to vomit and complain of stomach cramps. The children were rushed to hospital, where they were treated and discharged two hours after receiving medical attention from doctors.

There’s a footage on social media of kids crying and looking like they’re in much pain. It was allegedly that they ate a lollipop with a very big caution sign written in yellow saying “Brain Boost Sports Power Xtreme Flavour.”

The lollipops are currently trending to bring awareness so parents and kids can avoid buying them until it is cleared by officials.

The cause of illness is still being investigated. Some people think its probably food poisoning, the public await for results from the officials.
