Radio personality Unathi Nkayi has joined Johannesburg based community radio station Star 91.9 FM. Almost four months after parting ways with Kaya FM, Unathi Nkayi has landed herself a gig and a fresh start at the polarizing Jo’burg community radio station.
The radio station confirming the big news announced that Nkayi will be joining its “All Star Drive” from the 1st of March 2022 alongside Former 5FM radio presenter Justin Toerien.
“The cat is out of the bag! Yes, @Unathi_Africa [Unathi Nkayi’s Twitter handle] will be joining our Star-studded line up come 1 March. Unathi will join @JustinT_SA on the “All Star Drive” 15:00 to 18:00 weekdays. So, fasten your seatbelts, you’re in for the Drive of your life,” Star 91.9 FM tweeted.
A seemingly excited Unathi Nkayi also confirmed the news on her Instagram account in a video.
“Guyzin, it seems this radio thing doesn’t wanna let me go because from the 1st of March you know what I’m gonna be doing??? I’m gonna be driving you home, Whaaat! 3 to 6pm drive time 1st of March I’ll see you there!” Nkayi said.
