Residents of Tshwane concerned about further possible rain which may again bury houses due to floods.
The City of Tshwane experienced flooding that left rescue teams working throughout the midnight hours up to the current hour, working tirelessly evacuating those affected by floods.
In Hammanskraal, the municipal bulldozer operators dug on the side to let the flooded water flow on the side to lower floodings. Councillors have throughout the day addressed residents affected and offer solutions to the problem at hand.
The Tshwane residents say they are grateful for the work being done, however concerns are high after no sunlight was detected, indicating possible further rainfall which will be a setback to the rescuing being done. Gauteng as a whole on Friday 04 February encountered an all night rainfall with Tshwane mostly affected as a result.
