Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla Lux has expressed his devastation following the mass shooting of 24 people in Soweto, Mdlalose tarven. A week after the Enyobeni Tavern tragedy where 21 lives were lost.
On Sunday, South Africa yet woke up to the sad news of 15 people who died during mass shooting at Mdlalose Tavern in Nomzamo Section, Orlando. A total of 24 people were shot at, out of this number 15 died while 4 others are in critical condition in hospital.
“what happened here is devastating because last week we lost 21 people in Eastern Cape, this week 24 people were shot next week there’ll be others since getting away with crime it’s a norm in South Africa “.
“The police force must accept that they’re failing us as a nation, it’s time we took matters into our own hands we cannot tiptoe around because we’re afraid of the Human Rights Commission.”
“When the shooting happened we were patrolling around, it was just a matter of locating where the gunshots were fired.”
“South African politicians are hypocrites but not all of them, the one’s that are disgusting encouraging foreigners to occupy land and build squatter-camps, now we have to live with the consequences of your nonsense command here in the squatter-camps,” Said Lux. The age range of the people shot is between 19 and 35 years.
