Community of Klerksdorp as a whole not so much impressed with the executive mayor Cllr Ntlupheko James Tsolela during the Mayoral Festive Season Service Delivery Programme launch.
Klerksdorp mayor Tsolela’s picture was posted on social media, with him launching the Mayoral Festive Season Service Delivery Programme. Residents are rather not as pleased with the post saying just him fixing one hole or rather posing as though he is working, does not move their emotions at all.
Residents say Klerksdorp is now known for potholes, naming all kinds of places within the town. With Kanana’s pothole topping them all, those residing in Kanana say they are confused with the mayor not prioritising the big hole that has caused traffic and accidents. The pothole is situated in the middle of the T-Junction next to significant places in that area.
Going to the local Grace Mokgomo Clinic, is one big fuss as it difficult to get to it, the shopping centre that is always a go to due to Shoprite and other clothing stores, along with a kfc is hard to access due to the pothole. When it rains, the hole fills up as big as a community pool, cars find it hard to use the road and is also the busiest as it leads to all the important places that one can go to in Kanana.
With today’s launch, people are hoping this is the beginning to more roads being fixed, and also the assurance of having a very clean environment that will make certain the streets of Klerskdorp will be clean from side litters and many other service delivery requirements.
