Ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, they have been struggling to find another striker of his calibre to replace him.

According to Sky sports Real Madrid have shown interest in bringing Kyllian Mbappe to Los Blancos, Madrid put the amount of R2.8 billion (€ 160 million) on the table for the signature of the France forward. According to Transfer market Los Blancos bid amount for Mbappe would be the club record-breaking bid.

It is alleged that Paris Saint Germain have approached Mbappe to extend his stay on the current deal at the France Ligue 1 side, and Mbappe refused to extend, his current deal runs out in summer 2022. It has been Mbappe’s desire to play for Los Blancos. PSG have so far rejected Madrid’s bid offer.

Mbappe joined PSG from AS Monaco in August 2017 on a loan-deal, the 22-year-old forward later signed a permanent four-year contract keeping him at PSG until June 2022. Mbappe holds a record of 133 goals, 63 assists in 174 games for PSG. Mbappe won 11 domestic accolades and 3 Ligue 1 titles with Paris Saint Germain. He has also been linked to Liverpool.
