A new way of conducting day light robbery at Shopping Malls or Centres on the rise, after management shockingly come across a new style of how robbers work these days.

Remember how many video clips trended many years back of how people with hide good in their underwear and stomach pretending to be pregnant or rather think boned. Well just as time changes and we adapt, so does crime and stunts used to conduct the criminal act. When you think it’s a duvet neatly packet in a plastic, it’s a bucket disguised as a duvet.

A new way of robbing off stores of their goods is underway, an empty bucket disguised as a duvet is on the top list of crime syndicate method, negatively affecting malls and shopping centre.

The plan was perfectly orchestrated, shocking many who now come to realise they have seen many enter stores with similar objects. The plastic bucket is wrapped with multiple times with foil and tape as it believed the foil prevents the machine at the door to detect the stolen items.

Other criminals took the opportunity of getting into the stores with new suitcases. Due to travelings that happen in December and January people purchase suitcases and carry them while shopping. Robbers were also using suitcases to insert stolet items, covering the inside of the suitcase with foil.

Everything is a pandemic in South Africa, if not the virus then it is the crime rate, unemployment rate, Gender Based Violence and many others. Shopping centre management’s are requesting stores be on the look out for any other methods and ways used to committe robberys.
