Lethabo Ramaphoko 22 years of age was born and bred in Sekonye Morelele, Botlokwa and later relocated to Ga-Kgapane just outside the of Tzaneen CBD in Limpopo.
In his early years Ramaphoko attended primary school at Momatshana Primary, William Kgatla Primary School & later progressed to Modubatse High School where he failed his 10th grade, Ramaphoko later moved to Mokope High School to repeat his 10th grade and he progressed to the next grade.
After facing some problems in school Ramaphoko decided to call it quits and later moved to Makhado to fulfil his dream of becoming a professional footballer under Tshepo Academy.
Ramaphoko has revealed that he started playing football in grade 3 and he later met the Head Coach of Tshepo Academy in training, Mr Tshepo Sebopetsa who saw the potential in Ramaphoko as a good Goalkeeper and told him that if he worked hard, he would go far.”
Ramphoko previously played for Black Leopards Junior team that plays in the MDC, due to lack of game-time Ramaphoko moved to Ollesdas FC that plays in the ABC Motsepe League after moving to Ollesdas the Club’s chairman bought Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivandila’s (Marumo Gallants) status and Ramaphoko later got promoted to the senior team of Gallants.
“I draw motivation from Percy Tau, he has motivated me to believe in myself so that I can achieve what I want to achieve, In the next 5 years I want to see myself playing abroad just like him.’’ said Lethabo Ramaphoko in conclusion.
