Chippa United has brought back Kurt Lentjies into the first team as a second assistant coach,for the remainder of the season and he will work alongside Mammila and first assistant Siyabulela Gwambi.
Lentjies was the club’s head coach last season, but he was replaced by Daine Klate at the start of the season, however he never left Chippa United, although his role wasn’t specified.
Following their four winless in the DStv Premiership since the resumption after the International break, Chippa have only managed to score three goals in their last four matches .
The Eastern Cape based team, after initially notching wins as Mammila replaced Daine Klate as head coach soon after the beginning of the season, have not won in six games.
Lentjies now rejoins Chippa as they prepare for their Dstv Premiership encounter against Royal AM at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
