Former EFF municipal councilor and ANC member establishes new party

Former EFF municipal councilor and ANC member Baloyi Benny “The President” Mayengani has quietly announced the establishment of his new political party that will contest in the 2024 general elections, with him running as its presidential candidate.

 

The Tzaneen born-musician has taken bold steps by venturing into the world politics by registered his new political party called the Action Alliance Development Party (AADP).

 

The party is expected to be launched on August 5, 2023, at the prestigious Xilumani Hotel, Mayengani aims to contest in the upcoming 2024 South African National Elections, targeting the hearts and minds of the nation.

 

 

 

Mayengani in no stranger in the political arena and will definitely use his experience to convince South Africans to vote for his newly registered party and secure a spot in a would be multi-party coalition in 2024.

 

He resigned from the EFF in 2019 after serving as the party’s PR Councilor of the City of Johannesburg for four years, and later called it quits as the PR Councilor after he felt that his musical career was taking a knock as an EFF councilor.

 

 

Moreover , in February 2020 Mayengani rejoined the ANC and was officially welcomed by Limpopo Chairperson Stanley Mathabatha of the African National Congress.

 

then, he has immersed himself in growing the Action Alliance Development Party movement, a community driven activist movement that seeks to bring about change.
