Twitter seems to be the ring where political Parties attack one another using the keyboard, every chance they get.
As always the Economic Freedom Fighters are in on it. The Party led by Julius Malema is attacking back after it was alleged the EFF is causing the chaos seen within the governing party, regarding decisions made for the elections to be postponed.
EFF secretary general Marshall Dlamini told the media that they are ready for the elections he said “we not going to be played like a tennis ball by the ANC government”, he says the IEC has not been fair, he says when they told the IEC that the elections will not be free and fair but they will not reason with the “incompetent governing party” to postpone elections and refused.
EFF secretary general Marshall Dlamini told the media that they are ready for the elections, he said “we not going to be played like a tennis ball by the ANC government”, Marshall added on to say the IEC has not been transparent, he explained that when they told the IEC the elections will not be free and fair, they asked that the elections be postponed, the IEC refused to reconsider. Marshall says the EFF will not reason with the “incompetent governing party” but will go ahead with the local government elections and are ready for victory.
Chaos has been experienced in the recent weeks after a deadline was released for the local government elections and the ANC failed to meet the deadline. The ruling party asked for postponement in order for them to submit their names of candidates and it can be openly said that other parties were not in favour of that. Till to this day Twitter is buzzing as members are addressing the governing party via social media and not waiting for a press media briefing.
Further more the Economic Freedom Fighters has called on members of the public to submit or contribute to the party’s local government election manifesto, stating which issues they would like to see being resolved in their municipalities.
