A community member protesting with Operation Dudula says Julius Malema wants to kill them as he is protecting drug dealers. The resident speaking to the media, said the case opened by Victor Ramerafe, is the same as opening a case against the community of Dobsonville.
A case of breaking of entry , intimidation and assault, has been opened at the Dobsonville Police Station in Soweto, against movement leader Nhlanhla Lux. The EFF along with Operation Dudula is involved in an ongoing peaceful protest outside The police station.
Earlier the EFF confirmed Victor Ramerafe is indeed a former secretary in his ward for EFF, saying they will protect him from people like Nhlanhla Lux who “preys” on the Vulnerable. As of this moment an order restricting the EFF members on the street from talking to the media has been sent out making it difficult to get further comments.
The residents say they have experienced intimidation when they wanted to deal with Ramerafe, hence they sought to Lux for help. They say they are well aware Ramerafe was tipped off, however they vow to continue the search and the ending of drugs within their communities. And are certain Ramerafe is behind the selling of drugs to school kids and will not stop until drugs are swept out of the country.
