Chippa United striker Rodney Ramagalela’s house burns down

The South African football fraternity woke up to the news that Chippa United striker, Rodney Ramagalela’s, house burned down in the early hours of Tuesday morning, 16 November 2021, in Mamvuka, Limpopo.

Pictures and videos showing the reported eight room house engulfed in flames are circulating on Social media. According to multiple reports, luckily no one was inside the house when the fire broke out but unfortunately all the belongings including furniture in the house were reported to have been lost in the flames.

Mzansi tweeps have reacted to the devastating news. “What has he done so wrong?To deserve this? #RodneyRamagalela”, ” sad to see what happened to Rodney Ramagalela. I hope he gets help soon”, “That Rodney Ramagalela’s house…it’s heartbreaking.

May he find the strength to endure and rebuild it…”, ” It’ll be a very human thing to do and a good move for any former/current clubs of Rodney Ramagalela to contact him and offer support at this devastating news. There’s insurance but for those clubs to do that, it’ll be the best news”, “I cannot imagine what is like to lose a home, strength to Rodney Ramagalela and his family***”, read some of the tweets.

The player is also said to be recovering from an injury which has also limited his playing time at his club.
