Formally known as DJ Dimples, Boitumelo Athiel Mooi is laid to rest in an intimate ceremony attended by friends and family on Friday 11 March, in Johannesburg. The Hip Hop DJ who produced many hit songs, died on Sunday from brain haemorrhage, his death was confirmed by family later in the evening.

DJ Dimples death was sudden to many as they were not aware of the health condition. Fans are worried about the secrecy of their idols when things go south for them.
Boitumelo Athiel Mooi, was known for hit songs such as We Ain’t Leaving, on which he featured Anatii and L-Tido, and Way Up featuring Cassper Nyovest and JR. He released the album Kubu, in 2019.
