On the 31st minute Mvala failed to give South Africa the lead following a freekick from Mokoena, on the 36th minute Percy Tau found the back of the net for South Africa following a cross from Mobbie but the linesman ruled Tau’s goal off-side.The first half ended into a goalless draw.

Again, on the 76th minute Mvala almost scored a bicycle goal, but it just went wide. In the 83rd minute Bongokuhle Hlongwane gave South Africa the lead following a cross from Njabulo Blom. Sports analysts claims that Tau’s goal was on-side and the linesman wrongfully flagged it off-side.
