African National Congress (ANC) has started making payments of outstanding salaries for October to the staff following months without payments.

ANC staff went few months without pay as the liberation movement failed to make payments of salaries to their staff, stating financial problems as their reason for failure to make payments.

The ANC staff stated that they have received their salaries for October though they are yet to receive payments for November and December respectively. Few months ago ANC staff went on strike demanding that their salaries be paid as they were yet to receive them.

The ANC had initially promised to pay their staff before the 15th of December in a statement issued by the party genaral manager Febe Potgieter.
