Advocate Malesela Teffo has brought it before the court that the murder weapon along with the killer, were inside the house when Senzo Meyiwa was shot and killed and that his clients should be let go. Adv Teffo has called for the arrest of everyone who was in the house when Meyiwa died.
“According to this case seven people who were supposed to be arrested and charged were [already] in that house,” Adv Teffo
Adv Teffo says based on the case, the suspects were Longwe Twala, Kelly Khumalo, Gladness Khumalo, Zandile Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala, Mthokozisi Twala and Maggie Phiri, who allegedly cleaned the crime scene. “The theory in [one] case is that according to their (investigating officers’) evaluation or finding of their investigations, it is nonsensical to say anybody entered the house ,” he said.
Adv Teffo revealed the details of a second police docket, which suggested that the late goalkeeper died instantly on the crime scene. Former Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, has come forth through his twitter account to comment on the case, calling on Gods protection over Teffo.
