South African’s Thato Mosehle has made the top 3 at the Miss Supranational pageant held in Nowy Sacz, Poland, on weekend. It was a good night for the African continent with Chanique Rabe from Namibia taking the title while Mosehle placed as runner-up.

Mosehle obtained her MBCHB degree at the University of the Free State in 2018. At the time of the Miss South Africa pageant, she was working as a medical doctor. She completed her internship at the Klerkdorp-Tshepong Hospital complex in March this year, working as a frontline worker during the Covid-19 pandemic. She aspires to become an anesthesiologist one day and managed to launch her weekly #ChooseDay online talk show this year to share her medical knowledge.

“The support from South Africans has been beautiful to see. It pushes me to do my best. I have developed great confidence in myself and my abilities. Keep me in your prayers, I hope to make you extremely proud,” said the second runner-up, Thato Mosehle. She also added that she had runaway training as well as hair and makeup training sessions.

”I have been working closely with Miss South Africa creative director Werner Wessels in order to understand the essence of the pageant. I have developed and grown immensely. I have had the opportunity of receiving life coaching, vocal preparation and current affairs training which will forever stay with me, even beyond the final night.”

Thato hopes to make South Africans proud at the finals taking place on August 24. Watch the Miss South Africa official website and social media pages closer to the time for details on where to watch the pageant. You can also vote for Thato on her social media account.
