South Africans flooded twitter after RIP posts did the rounds in the afternoon. Many got the shocking news of the passing of Killer Kau (Sakhile Hlatshwayo) and Mpura Mpura on their way to a gig that was to take place in Rustenburg.
It was reported that the two friends died from a tragic car accident. Fans speculated Kabza De Small was also dead after he was seen with the two artists the night before, but Kabza responded on twitter to let everyone know he is alive and well, the post had said “am alive guys relax” but later got deleted.
Not much details regarding the cause of death is being said by sources and friends. Killer kau was well known for his hit videos that took over social media and made a song with DJ Euphonik called Tholukuthi when he was only 19 and now with his his single Amaneighbour. Mpura Mpura took over amapiano during its rise with great collaborations, one of them being Umsebenzi Wethu and iDlozi.
A video where Killer Kau was joking about his death and alcohol is trending on social media. Messages of condolences from fans and friends, continue to frock social media with disbelieve, following condolences from their celebrity friends. Thorough details of their death are yet to be provided.
