Fans of the Washa and Vura hit maker Sandile Mkhize are traumatised coming to learn of his passing.

DJ City Lyts (Sandile Mkhize) was killed during a high jacking in Soweto 13 February night. The artist was shot eight times, succumbing to his injuries leading to his passing. These news brought heartache to the Hip Hop fan base.

The DJ who happens to also be the late ProKid’s younger brother, contributed to the Hip Hop industry, leaving Mzansi with two hit tracks to remember him by : ‘Washa featuring Emtee and Fifi Cooper, ‘Vura’ featuring Sjava. Twitter has been sharing memories of the tracks after learning about his death.

Further details of his death from the SAPS and family have not yet been released.
