The community of Ga-Matipane in Senakwe has locked the gates of Senakwe Primary School due to the unresolved allegations of nepotism affecting the school.
SÂ ince the 30th of January 2022 the school’s management and parents of the school’s pupil has been holding meetings till to date, following the allegations of nepotism and corruption faced by the school’s acting principal, it is alleged that the acting principal has tampered the list of candidates shortlisted by SGB for the Head of Department (HOD) post and sabotaged the entire process by swapping the candidates list with hers
The situation faced by the school was later escalated to the circuit manager of Modjadji Circuit and no common grounds were made between the two parties, on Wednesday parents of the school’s pupils drafted a letter to the circuit manager stating their concerns but the letter was dismissed.
The concerned parents held a meeting today and the meeting resulted into shutting down the school until the matter is resolved. The issue has been escalated to Ga-Mokwakwaila SAPS .
Community members are urged to attend a meeting that will be held tomorrow at 6am in Ga-Mokwakwaila SAPS pertaining the issue faced by the school.
