Chippa United has completed the signing of dribbling wizard Tshepo “Skhwama Sama Tariyana” Matete who has been training with the club.

Matete has been training with the club when they returned to training, after the FIFA World Cup break, with the hope of reviving his career at the Eastern Cape based club.

The 31-year-old was last in the books of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) until the end of last season.

His move to the Chilli Boys means Matete reunites with head coach Morgan Mmamila. Mmamila gave Matete his first professional contract when he was the CEO of Baroka FC in 2015 after being spotted playing at Kasi festive tournaments.
