Vusi Ma R5 a popular barcadi artist from Mabopane was allegedly fatally shot dead on Sunday night at one of the venues he was booked to perform.

It is alleged the shooting took place at a venue known as Legentsheng in M17.A ccording to reports it is said he succumbed to the injuries after he was shot.

Ma R5 was a well known barcadi artist in Pretoria, he was known for multiple songs featuring the likes of Phindi maphendula, his fans called his the president of ma 2k.

Fans have been sending their condolences on social media since the news broke earlier in the morning.
