Cristiano Ronaldo is set to face his long-time soccer rival Lionel Messi in the Riyadh Season Cup, which will take place at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.

The 37-year-old Portuguese forward will make his debut and lead the team, Saudi All-Star XI made up of players from Saudi sides Al Hilal and Al Nassr against Messi’s PSG. The highly anticipated encounter reportedly had more than 2 million online ticket requests.

This will be Cristiano Ronaldo’s first club match after his departure from Manchester United and signing for his new club.

In terms of his official club debut for Al Nassr, fans will have to wait until Sunday, January 22, to see the Portuguese forward making his first competitive appearance in the Saudi Pro League.
