Can SA afford a National Shutdown Malema?

EFF calling for National Shutdown

Second call for a national Shutdown from the Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema. The EFF leader has announced to the public  for another plan for a national shutdown, in requesting the President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, to step down.

Now the question headed for the EFF leader is, will he take accountability for the negative outcome such as looting and violent protest which  might turn out as a result of a national shutdown or will he be watching comfortably from his home, when the news covers the events? A call for Ramaphosa to step down and resign as president has been on the rise, and it is no secret that Malema is one who was never in support of Ramaphosa as president, calling him a criminal in public.

South Africans are concerned that at this rate, the episode that took place in Sri Lanka where protesters stormed the place where the president was occupying and the government offices, calling for their president to resign before fleeing. Ramaphosa has not commented on the matter as his focus is currently on Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane
