With a National Shutdown threat still trending, various private transports for school, have opted to stop operation for Friday 10 June. This means a number of children will have to miss school in fear of getting hurt.
Parents are left stranded after transport personnel informed they will be staying away from the road and keep their vehicles parked at home. The National shut down threat is causing havoc ahead of its day. with the department of education fighting to keep learners up to speed under the covid-19 situation, schools in the beginning of the year said they cannot afford any more delays.
Minister of police MEC Bheki Cele says they are ready for anything that might transpire but encouraged people to go on with their days as normal. Members of the SAPS and SANDF will be stationed throughout to monitor the situation and act when needed.
