John Maduka has handed in his sudden resignation at Royal AM after one season in charge. The former Bloemfontein Celtic manager is set to replace the departed Ernst Middendorp at Maritzburg after guiding Royal AM to an impressive third-place finish.
The team of choice is set to hold a press conference tomorrow morning with Maduka set to be unveiled as the Head Coach of the Pietermaritzburg outfit, meanwhile Gavin Hunt could be making his way to the Gucci Boys as Maduka’s replacement.
Maduka has had to take two squads and turn them into one, harmonious group. He has managed that with aplomb and has led the side to a CAF Confederations Cup and a Nedbank Cup final.
In his stint at Royal AM, Maduka has managed to pick up 12 wins, 11 draws and 7 losses in 30 games with 47 points finishing 3rd guiding the Gucci boys to CAFCC.
